I like the fact that I paired the skirt and tank top- both items that hold completely different patterns- together and formed something that seems a bit cohesive... at least in my mind.

i love mixing patterns as well....though it probably takes me far too much thought.
i hated lord of the flies. haha. you'll have to let me know what you think, if you haven't read it yet...
Your skirt is awesome! And I hated Lord of the Flies as well, haha.
That skirt is beautiful.
<3
I really like the print on your skirt. I agree, very other wordly. I remember reading Lord of the Flies for the first time and thinking of the Stanford Prison experiment where people totally lost their identities because they were caught up in the situation they were in. Loved that book.
Sweet bag as well.
Love the combination. It feels so perfectly natural. Lord of the flies was one of my favorite books for a long time when I first read it. Such a well written story - are you reading it? I also love that belt! You look beautiful.
that is an amazing skirt. And also an amazing book you're reading!
♥the skirt - love love love
cute dress-tank.
do you have some book recommendation??

Nice combination! Love the cute purse too:)
Suprisingly, this outfit does look cohesive. I like it!
the bra thing kinda annoys me massively, it;s really distracting, i noticed it in your other entry also.
but besides from that fact, the rest of the outfit it real cute.
i'm liking the new header! more, um, minimal. it looks nice. you can see the pretty sun in the photo much better now. also, just saying i love most all your outfits and i love your blog!
This is really cute, the two colors/patterns go really well together.
Yes Chip and Pepper!
love the outfit, it looks like something mother earth would wear
and i love that book

I love the pattern of your skirt!
It's beautiful :)
BTW I have a question : Do you know if American Apparel's clothes and especially 'cycle shorts' size larger than the written size or smaller ? In fact, I think I gonna order a M on the online store, but it's a really M or it's more like a S ?
Thanks for answering
wow

your skirt is delightful! i love the print
What's up with the overexposed bra lately? There are creeps on the internet and you are 14...No more black bar but plenty of black bra??
Such a nice skirt. I like it's style. And it look so good on you.=D
I absolutely adore your blog, and everything about it. Your outfits are fabulous. Which is why I don't understand the over exposed bra. The bra really distracts from your awesome outfits, and frankly it is not classy. Nix the bra, wanderer!
when I said nix the bra, I meant to nix the exposure of it! Sorry for the mix up :).
This is amazing -- not two things I'd think of putting together, but they work so well!
This outfit is spectacular. When I say the skirt is epic, I mean it!
oh, lord of the flies. super creepy but actually really good! you look a bit like a tree, in a fabulous way of course.
Love the outfit! Especially the dress worn as top! J'adore!

I really, Really like your outfit and the pictures made my day. I do think they have already told you, but you kind-of look like Charlotte Gainsbourg
This outfit is so gorgeous, and I love the photos- your blog is really inspiring place.
Yeah, mixing patterns... but seriously the back of the skirt just behind the belt and the bra... I'm sorry to write this, because I usually like your style, but this is just awful.
Stunning skirt! xxoxoxo
This look works perfectly with your long loose hair.

claire- they are true to size, so if you are a small, then you ARE a small
anonymous, anonymous, sharon- Hey guys. Truthfully I didnt know my bra was exposed in the back until after the pictures were shot. To tell you the truth I kinda like the lines and how it matches with the black belt below it. That said, Im not making the black bra thing a life choice, you guys just happen to have caught two sets of pictures with it in view. Its also incredibly hot here. Thanks for your comments. Dont worry about me. :) (And LOL sharon, I got it)
lord of the flies! sick book, hahah.
every outfit you put together is gorgeous. i am jealous of your styling skills!

Hi! I'm new here in your blog and I just want to say that I love your skirts. They're super original and not to mention not too revealing. I love how different you are to other girls right now that think the shorter they wear the better. Keep on doing what you do and I hope you won't change!
xoxo
