Please Excuse My Dog, She Wants to Get Signed by Ford Modeling

I wore this on Thursday. This funny adult at school looks me up and down when we go to an assembly that afternoon.

Adult (after much consideration)
: Admirable.

Thanks? On Wednesday I was playing with a kids pair of crutches, and in the process just about messed up my shin to the point that walking was really difficult for 2 days. Ironic right?

My aunt got me this dress at the Fairfax Flea market. Its so lovely I just want to scream. A floral dress is exactly what I need right now.

A reader asked who my style icon was, simply said, Audrey Hepburn. She was so gorgeous, lovely and sophisticated. My fascination with her started when I was little and my mother would cut my bangs like Audrey. In my opinion, like a good little black dress, she is timeless.

Ballerina

This was my "Au revoir mexican exchange students!" dinner outfit. Not bad, eh? I got this dress for Christmas and actually had to exchange it to a different size, so did not have that much time to wear it. Well, thats my excuse, in all actuality, Ive had about 3 weeks to wear it. Anyway, I had no idea that the dress was a sort of copy of the Miu Miu black corset dress until I saw this post and did some further research.

My mother paid $300 for this Dolce and Gabbana crochet back in the 80s from a woman who paid $1000 for it. I am now the person who gets to wear it in all of its ivory colored glory. Nice deal, right?

Im feeling really stupid now, because I deleted my Spanish and Leather post, by accident. I really am about to kick myself right now. If anyone wants to see the outfit, its on my chictopia account, which reminds me, please add me to your favorites on there! It would mean so much. Alright, Im going to go kick myself now.

Wearing a crochet ivory Dolce and Gabbana sweater overlay, BB Dakota navy ballerina mini dress, chip and pepper jeans, marc by marc jacobs cream and navy heels, handmade satin ribbon belt, vintage catholic necklace set on a handmade pearl necklace, gifted opal ring.

Maison Martin Margiela

This was good.
Most definitely my favorite of all the men's collections. Though the beginning of John Galliano's pirate-y fall 09 collection was pretty good, however the line got too crazy for my taste and instead chose Maison Martin Margiela as the winning design. Its simple and chic and oh-so-wearable. Who could want more?

Homage to Dawn McKlevie///Red Leather Bracelet or Red Leather Small Dog Cape?

Being the avid blog reader-slash-stalker I am, I came upon a post from Susie Lau on Style Bubble. Instantly I went to gmail and forwarded the link to my aunt who is an avid sewer-slash-diy guru and attached the picture as well.

Number one question: Can we make this?

Answer: Yes we can!

So then we did.
It was an epic collaboration with intensive thought and money put into it, based on the original Dawn Mcklevie Mollie bracelet Susie had written about.

There was about 6 hours of work put into it. Tell me about it. Well, actually. Tell my aunt about it. :P

During the process of the first bracelet that was made it was declared it looked like a small dog cape. During the process of the second bracelet it was declared it could be a small shower curtain for a small dog's small apartment.

I now have 3 of the bracelets, which you will definitely be seeing everywhere.
Final question: Red Leather Bracelet for Human or Red Leather Cape for Small Dog?

In Case of a Water Landing

PhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucketPhotobucket
So this is my American Apparel Tri-Blend Raglan Pullover. Yup, all capitals, because its that epic. I trully cant describe in words how awesome this shirt is. Its such a lovely fabric and the tri-blend makes it just a little more special. A kid at my school was wearing the same shirt, basically, except his was green and had buttons on it and probably cost him about $5, if even that much. I just wanna say a BIG (this big!) shoutout and thank you to Shawn, a super cool cat who used the word egregious and made sure the pullover got to me in the first place.

I want this hat, and I think that these two pictures from this post are just really cool, and actually the post is really cool in the first place. Cool.

:) :(

Basically, I want these pants. Bad.

Basically, 'basically' is my new favorite word, and I received my tri-blend raglan black pullover lusted for here, given to me by american apparel (thanks shawn!), yesterday.

Basically, I hate photobucket right now. It messed up all my old photos. They will be back on the 28th. :( If you want to see my past photos out then check out my weardrobe, chictopia, and lookbook accounts, located on the left.

Basically, the inauguration was madness.

Basically, thats it.
