Halo

I love this white slip. Its amazing that something so simple can make me feel so beautiful... It reminds me of an angel.

For those of you wondering, I did get a haircut. I got it shortened and layered. I needed it so very, very badly, I had a serious split end problem. I love it though. Very fun and playful and light. A definite breath of fresh air.

P.s. Do you have a piece of clothing that makes you feel beautiful despite it being so simple?

Bad Bad, Really Really Bad

See this dress? Yeah, uh-huh, its awesome. Its the perfect summer dress. Light, jersey material, fun floral pattern. Its adorable and playful and seductive (roses and the fact that its strapless) at the same time. I feel really feminine when wearing it. Look.... Im in love.

Chinatown

My mom and I went to Chinatown for some lunch today. Set next to modern downtown LA, I really enjoyed looking at all of the buildings and stereotypical Chinese architecture. There wasnt much of a town, really, but I still got photos. I also picked up two necklaces there, one with a griffin on it, and the other with two monkeys with empty eye sockets clutching a bag of money... I hope to wear them a lot.

Ive always wanted to try wearing a jacket as a dress/shirt and so I took this lightweight army green jacket, buttoned it up and belted it.

Planes, Chains, and Automobiles

Picked up this gorgeous 80s faux army jacket with chains extending from the front to the back at the Crossroads on Melrose Ave today. Seriously. Its the best khaki jacket I have ever laid my eyes on.

These bleach shorts (besides bike shorts) are my new alternative for the basic denim cutoffs. Absolutely beautiful and darling (and also one of my favorite twitter friends!) Niviarsiaq made these shorts for me. She bought them at Goodwill (except theyre Jcrew!) and painted the bleach on or something. She did a fantastic job either way. I love them. Thanks sooooooooo much lady!

NYC Apartment

New boyfriend jeans. From Topshop. Score. They are freaking the most comfortable jeans in the history of the universe. Definitely my new favorite pair. And I love these jelly gladiators sooo much. As well as this vintage jacket Im wearing from Urban Outfitters. Did you know that the big UO was selling vintage? Neither did I.

When I was at Topshop I saw Blake Lively there. For those of you who are wondering she basically bought the entire Kate Moss collection. She is really tall by the way. She was wearing flats and even she seemed entirely huge. But of course she was gorgeous.

The weather in NYC has been less than desireable, and my feet are definitely sore from all the walking. Hopefully Ill share some pictures of the city soon...
