Been banished from eating at the dinner table tonight cause apparently no one in my family wants to get the flu. Im watching Valley Girl with Nick Cage, instead. The characters are wayyyy 80s and say stuff like "What a hunk" and "Rockin bod"

P.s. The pantomime didnt go so well... the first time. My iPod touch wouldnt work so I had to do it with no music. Which, let me tell you, is not fun. But then I had a classes change and got to do it again, the next day, with music. Way better.

School Dayz

I wore this to school today. Ive got to say that this is basically my uniform during the week. Ill be the first to tell you I care more about getting good grades than looking stylish. Im already so tired waking up I dont want another thing to worry about, especially with the silly dress code at my school. Its a lot to wrap your brain around at 7 am, haha!

However, I must admit, I felt really, really cool in this outfit. Walking down the hallways I felt damn empowered, especially when passing the couple of students who Ive recognized as people caring about what they wear. I stood up a little straighter in these boots and jacket. I think thats what fashion should be about, no? Feeling good. Theres nothing like believing in something youre wearing.

This Thursday my teacher at my school is having our class perform individual pantomimes to music that expresses how we feel/what we would do about the song. Basically act like youre in a movie and put it to the soundtrack. I chose House of the Rising Sun by The Animals. I hope I dont get shot down by all the Paramoure and Soulja Boy lovers ... or whatever kids are listening to these days. :P

(Felt like I should add that Vampire Weekend was my soundtrack to writing this post)

This was so pretty! Oh my gosh. I could LIVE in this collection. Live and breathe and die in it. As long as Im wearing it I would be happy.

I felt this was very fairy inspired. I imagine light and dark faeries in the deep forest wearing these pieces, with ivy wrapped around their legs and dragon flies hung as earrings. Just a thought.

I find jewelery is one of the easiest ways to express yourself as an individual. Theres really no way that someone will have the same jewelery combinations on as you.... ever.

Wasnt Lanvin incredibly beautiful? I mean, towards the end. Im not talking about the monochromatic dresses, Im really in love with the sparkles. So extravagent.

Oh, by the way... Im sick! And mad about it. I got sat in geometry with two kids who were ill and this one kid that made a big point about me also catching the bug. So here I am, trying to learn my polygons and what not, and theyre sniveling wrecks next to me.
Such is life.
